Saving your car from traffic

Car bumpers often get damage due to minor crashing. This happens when vehicles are running too close with each other especially in heavy moving traffic. Just the idea of driving your vehicle in lower speed is annoying so how would you just react when your vehicle get scratches because of the heavy traffic. Traffic is a growing problem of the universe because of the increasing growth of vehicles especially in the areas with enormous economic growth and this could only mean more pollution and annoying conditions on the road.

Driving too close from another vehicle is not a sensible option for safe stopping. If you remember your first lesson in driving, probably you will remember one of the important things on the road that was taught – to keep distance. With heavy traffic, safe distances only mean more tailgate turbulence, which could increase the vehicle’s drag and fuel consumption. As vehicles move in the same direction with just a few meter away, drag and fuel efficiency are reduced. Despite the fact that more roads are constructed and the public transport is improved, still automakers want this problem to become less hassle for car owners. Indeed, a study was conducted by some researchers and came up with a device or a sensor called platooning system.

This platooning system will reduce the drag of the vehicle, which as well means that the average fuel consumption is minimized. Platooning actually provides many benefits, for it can also cut congestion, greenhouse gas emission, and the overall road noise heard by drivers and other road users.

Because traffic is an inevitable condition that every car owner may experience, the use of the platooning system is definitely a wise move because of the many advantages it offers. Thanks to the advances in technologies that are discovered by witty inventors.
